Biography

María Tintoré is Senior Scientist at AB Biotek HNH since 2021. She has a degree in Pharmacy, a Master of Science in Molecular Biotechnology and a pHD in Biotechnology from the University of Barcelona, where she specialised in Biocatalysis and Enzyme Technology. She has published more than 15 articles in high impact journals in the field of Biotechnology, nanotechnology and Microbiome.

After her PhD, María moved to the private sector and has worked in R&D in different Biotech companies. She has more than 7 years of experience in New Product Development and Clinical Research. In particular, she has devoted the last years of her career to product development in the field of microbiome modulators, prebiotic, probiotics, postbiotics and enzymes, and has experience in the development of food supplements, medical foods, medical devices and cosmetics.
