Biography

Senior Scientist at ABBiotek HNH since 2021. He holds a degree in Microbiology and Food Science and Technology, Master of Science and PhD in Molecular Microbiology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, scholarship from the Ministry of Education and Science in its FPU program.

Since 2006, after completing his doctorate, Jordi has developed his professional career in private industry, coordinating research departments focused on the field of the microbiome. More than 25 peer-reviewed articles and 13 families of international patents related to the development of prebiotics, probiotics, microbial consortia, and enzymes have been obtained from them, being commecialized abroad as food, food supplment or medical food products. He has served as a scientific leader in public funded projects on the basis of competitive applications.
